Zhang Wei was entering midlife and became a proficient clinician in 1996. She was temporarily transferred to the inpatient department for assistance as the needs of hospital grade evaluation. Beijing Jiangong Hospital conducted restructuring in 2000. Zhang Wei was drafted into the army when she was only 14 years old. In the general environment of the army, after 18 years of practicing and growing, she changed from a soldier to a military doctor, joined the army everywhere.

She shuttled through the battlefield to bandage, hemostasis, lift, rescue her wounded comrades in arms regardless of rumble of gunfire and smoke of gunpowder, blooming the bold youth on the bloody battlefield.

These experiences make her a soldier with a high sense of responsibility and mission.

Later, she was successively assigned to four hospitals affiliated to the Group due to working needs, assigned as executive vice president and executive president. Every hospital she worked in has deeply branded her management style.

When she was working in Yanhua Hospital, it seemed that satisfactory results always cannot be achieved only by language, working hours and communication with the design department during the process analyzing and environmental reconstruction planning.

Zhang Wei, female, graduated from Medical Department of Air Force Medical University, with a master degree of hospital management, deputy chief physician of internal medicine, 22 years of clinical work experience.

Zhang Wei was drafted into the army in early 1970 and graduated from Air Force Medical University in 1974. She successively worked as a doctor, attending doctor, deputy chief physician and clinical director in Sichuan Army Division Hospital, General Hospital of the Kunming Military Region, 263 Hospital of Beijing Military Region, and Beijing Construction Engineering Hospital.?

In 1996, she served as the vice president of Beijing Construction Workers Hospital (now Beijing Jiangong Hospital). After the reformation in 2000, she successively served as executive vice president, executive president, and Group quality director in Beijing Yanhua Hospital, Beijing Jiangong Hospital, Mentougou District People’s Government of Beijing Municipality, and General Hospital of Beijing Coal Group and is responsible for hospital’s international standards ISO and JCI accreditation and hospital grading evaluation work. Furthermore, she has participated in the grading evaluation and guidance of JCI standards of more than 10 hospitals across the country.

From 2001 to 2005, President Zhang Wei was responsible for international quality management system certification of ISO9001:2000/ISO9002:1994/EN46002:1996, ISO13488:1996 and GDP standard certification of hemodialysis specialty of Beijing Jiangong Hospital as well as four affiliated hospitals affiliated to Group in Wuxi, Shenzhen and Dalian, and took the lead in introducing international standards into Chinese hospital management. President Zhang Wei has successively participated in the first evaluation and review of two times ISO standards and multiple international standards of EN. Beijing Jiangong Hospital has passed the GDG certification of hemodialysis specialty, becoming the first hospital in Asia to pass the GDP standard.

From 2009 to 2019, she was responsible for four times JCI simulation evaluations and six times formal JCI evaluations of three hospitals of Group, what is noticeable is that Beijing Yanhua Hospital and Beijing Jiangong Hospital became the 7^th and 8^th hospitals in China to pass the JCI evaluation for the first time.
